Ann-Marie Sheridan MA, BA (Hons), PGCE, CTP, ALCM, CIPD (Associate) IAF (Associate)
Ann-Marie is our principal consultant and is a respected Learning and Development Trainer and Consultant. She has a wide range of experience working in diversity and equality, early years education, personal effectiveness and optimising communication.
Ann-Marie's approach is founded on her passion and commitment to improving the potential in organisations. Her experience as a consultant, researcher and trainer demonstrate her excellent communication and people skills and her ability to reach wide and varied audiences. She has worked extensively in the UK, Ireland and Africa in the fields of Industry and Commerce, SMEs, National and Local Government, Government Agencies, Education and Community Development. She is a published author with creative research skills.
Ann-Marie holds a BA, PGCE, CTP, MA, and ALCM. Ann-Marie worked at Middlesex University as a researcher, where she wrote and co-authored several pieces of work. She has been published by the Equal Opportunities Commission, Middlesex University and Women’s Resource Centre, and was a writer and researcher for the DFES on un-condoned absence.
Liz Edwards
Following a career in the retailing sector where she gained an excellent grounding in training and development, Liz started out primarily designing and delivering training workshops and flexible text-based learning materials and working on a range of projects to develop national standards. She moved into coaching and job change where she has worked with a wide range of individuals and organisation to improve effectiveness, develop individuals and enable those being made redundant to prepare for the job search process as effectively as possible whilst dealing with any emotion issues involved in a caring, professional way.
Liz is flexible, approachable and committed and believes in giving a top quality service to all clients. Liz has worked in a range of sectors including: Retailing, Logistics, Pharmaceuticals, Legal, Utilities, Insurance, Catering, Publishing, and within the public sector: Care, the Prison Services, the Crown Prosecution Service, Business Link, Chambers of Commerce.
Liz is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development. She has a Diploma in Counselling, a Diploma in Business Coaching and a Certificate in Business Administration.
Gemma Kennedy
Gemma Kennedy is a highly experienced business support worker. She has many years experience working in the Learning and Skills Council and brings a unique perspective to business' learning and development needs. Gemma is a qualified "Investors in People " practitioner and specialises in working with SMEs inline with requirements of this National Quality Standard, including developing and implementing processes and strategic business plans.
Gemma also provides a remote HR service, including Recruitment and Selection, Induction and Appraisals, supporting SMEs in developing their Personnel service externally and within a realistic budget.
Mike Mortby
Mike is an Associate of both the Chartered Institute of Bankers and the Institute of Management Consultants and has been involved in the Financial Services and Customer Service Industry for over 27 years. In that time, he has worked extensively with Barclays Bank PLC, Understanding Industry, the Junior Chamber of Commerce and a range of private organisations, colleges and PLC's both in the UK, Europe and Middle East.
Possessing an ability to communicate easily at all levels, Mike places a strong emphasis on empowerment, motivation, leadership and forward planning. His relaxed, yet focused style encourages the development of excellent working relationships with individuals and teams. His training expertise includes all forms of management development, personal development, assessment, coaching, mentoring and career management.
